I’ve been reflecting on what I’m truly passionate about, and one thing that always rises to the top is creating interactive websites. I love building experiences where users can explore, discover, and engage—where they can step into my thought process and uncover something new. There’s something incredibly rewarding about crafting a space that encourages people to think outside the box, to experiment, and maybe even spark their own creativity.
My passion for this started back in high school, when I first discovered programming. Learning the language of machines and realizing how a simple idea could take countless forms through code captivated me. Ever since, I’ve been driven by the desire to create work that not only functions well but also inspires others to bring their own ideas to life.
This project explores the relationship between emotion, perception, and digital interaction through a minimalist, mood-driven web experience. Prompted simply with “What’s your mood?”, users are invited to reflect on their emotional state as they navigate an interactive canvas where hovering across the screen transforms the background through abstract colors and symbolic cues. Each user selection generates a distinct visual and auditory response, creating a personalized aesthetic environment.
The website functions as an evolving piece of digital art—challenging traditional interpretations of mood by placing meaning-making in the hands of the user. Rather than defining emotions through predetermined categories, it encourages individuals to consider how specific colors resonate with them and what feelings those colors evoke. By allowing users to co-create their own emotional journey, the piece highlights the fluidity and complexity of human emotion.
Ultimately, this project demonstrates how digital design can transcend functional boundaries to provoke thought, evoke emotion, and engage users in deeper self-reflection.
This project reimagines poetry as an interactive, ever-changing digital experience. Users explore a dynamic poetic landscape where each click generates a new, uniquely meaningful poem, transforming traditional literary expression into a fluid and responsive form. Words animate softly across the screen—morphing, fading, or scattering with user interaction—to evoke themes of impermanence, transformation, and emotion.
Set within a tranquil visual environment, such as a 3D cherry blossom scene, the poems become integrated elements of the digital landscape. A fortune-cookie feature further enhances the experience, offering a new, randomized fortune with each click and inviting continuous exploration.
By merging generative text, animation, and user participation, the project positions the internet as both medium and collaborator. It expands conventional literary and artistic forms through interactivity, randomness, and immersive design, creating a digital artwork that is dynamic, evolving, and deeply engaging.
